Job Summary

Prepare and apply paint coatings by cleaning, sanding, mixing colors, and using various application tools. Maintain a safe workspace and communicate effectively with clients and team members to deliver high-quality finishes on wood, metal, and drywall surfaces.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sand, and repair surfaces to ensure proper paint adhesion before coating application
• Select and blend paints to match specific colors and finishes accurately
• Apply paint, stain, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, and sprayers to achieve uniform coverage
• Handle materials such as wood, metal, and drywall safely and appropriately during preparation and painting
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace to support efficient and hazard-free operations
• Communicate clearly with clients, team members, and other professionals to coordinate tasks and address concerns
• Manage time effectively to complete painting tasks within deadlines
• Identify and resolve issues during the painting process to maintain quality standards
• Pay close attention to detail to ensure a high-quality finish and detect potential surface problems
• Participate actively in morning Tool Box meetings to review daily tasks and safety protocols
