Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Operations Intern to join our team. This internship will provide you with hands-on experience in both IT and operations, including system installations, troubleshooting, maintenance, and deployments. You will work closely with our IT and operations teams, supporting day-to-day tasks and learning valuable skills that will set you up for a successful career in the field.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the installation, setup, and maintenance of IT systems and hardware.
Help with basic systems administration tasks, including working with Windows and Linux servers.
Support the team in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to hardware, software, or networks.
Deploy IT applications, assist with system updates, and perform system recovery procedures as required.
Communicate technical information clearly to end-users in both verbal and written formats.
Assist with research and implementation of improvements to streamline operations and IT support.
Provide technical support for both hardware and software-related issues.
Help with documenting IT procedures and creating user guides for internal use.
Support with minor tasks related to electrical wiring, carpentry, and metal fabrication (preferred, not required).

Requirements:
At least ITE qualification or higher in a relevant field, or currently pursuing studies in IT, operations, or a related discipline.
Strong interest in IT systems, technology, and operations.
Good communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information in a clear, understandable way.
Familiarity with Windows and Linux environments is a plus.
Hands-on experience with IT installations, system configurations, and basic maintenance is desirable.
A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and an eagerness to grow professionally.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Proficient in verbal and written English and Mandarin/Chinese is preferred (high frequency in dealing and coordinating with Chinese-speaking clients and vendors).
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks.

Preferred Skills:
Exposure to IT installation and repair tasks.
Basic knowledge of networking concepts and hardware troubleshooting.
Familiarity with project management tools like Trello or Jira.
An interest in learning new technologies and tools.
