Job Role Description:

The Operation Executive is responsible for planning and implementing complex transportation processes, operations and technology. The person is also responsible for developing plans to monitor transportation resources utilisation levels and reviewing efficiency of transportation operations. He is required to explore solutions and analyse feasibility of plans. The person is also expected to supervise a transport operations team, and work with internal and external stakeholders to implement processes and technology

Key Task Responsibilities

• Lead teams in the workplace.

• Evaluate operational policies, standards and procedures

• Review allocation of resources across different business activities

• Manage resources to ensure transportation operation schedules are met

• Review transportation solutions for improvements and/or closing gaps

• Optimise resource and cost management based on market practices and business environment

• Review the application of integrated logistics solutions and business management principles to improve the overall transport plan

• Review methods and techniques to better manage dangerous goods and hazardous materials

• Formulate solutions and process solutions to innovate current business processes.

• Develop measures using quality management knowledge to enhance quality standards.

• Plan key activities and milestones in technology projects

• Facilitate interactions between internal and external partners to design and implement technology project.

• Apply the latest technology to improve operations

• Leverage data analytics to build insights on technology usage

• Gather information on reputable sources and partners' latest technology trends

• Communicate requirements and activities to stakeholders

• Optimise use of allocated resources within business activities

• Perform basic risk assessments

• Any other ad-hoc assignment

Job Requirements:

 Positive work attitude, efficient, organized, accurate and attentive to detail

Familiar with Singapore road and traffic conditions

Quick to resolve discrepancies and provide alternative solutions

Ability to communicate in English with all internal and external customers

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office

Good interpersonal, coordination, and organisational skills

Possess a positive work attitude and problem-solving skills

Meticulous and detail-oriented

Possess a Singapore Class 3 driving licence.
