IT Support Engineer (Network Technician)

Salary range: $3,200 - $4,000

This position reports to the Group IT Manager and interface with company’s staff of all levels. This position provides technical support to all Eng Kong offices, including group financial and operational/transactional systems. Applicants with knowledge in container depot operations, technical sales and/or project execution are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

Technical support for user's desktops, laptops, System/OA software, NAS, printers/MFP, backup facility and other related IT equipment.

Troubleshooting of computer network issues in Windows domain environment (TCP/IP, Active Directory, Wireless AP, Firewall, Router, Switch)

Corporate Email setup and administration (Exchange Server, Outlook, Mobile Activesync)

System administration for various servers.

Hardware/Software inventory documentation

Study, recommend and introduce IT initiatives to improve IT operations

Supervise contract workers and outdoor site survey, the scope can be wide base in any infrastructure like telecommunication, machinery, networking, IOT, or any IT equipment.

Any other tasks as assigned by immediate superior

Job Requirements

Diploma in IT or related principles

Minimum 1 year of hand-on working experience in end-user support (hardware & software) environment

Minimum 1 year of fieldwork experience running outdoor IT projects (required to work outdoors under hot weather conditions)      

Have experience to liaise and follow up with vendors and users onsite and offsite

Requires hands-on experience in routers, switches, internet, and networking support

Innovative and proactive, with strong technical leadership and a drive to improve IT operations and project outcomes.

Strong communicator, resourceful, responsive, and an enthusiastic team player with self-initiative.

Able to speak Mandarin, as need to liaise with Mandarin-speaking associate.

Willing to work alternate Saturday
