About the role

As a Marine Service Engineer at FUJI HORIGUCHI ENGINEERING PTE LTD', you will play a crucial role in maintaining and servicing a range of marine equipment and systems. This full-time position is based in the Taman Jurong West Region and offers opportunities for career development within a dynamic engineering company.

What you'll be doing

Conducting scheduled maintenance and inspections on marine equipment and systems

Troubleshooting and diagnosing issues with marine machinery, engines, and other related components

Carrying out repairs and overhauls to restore equipment to optimal working condition

Providing technical support and guidance to vessel crew on the operation and maintenance of marine systems

Maintaining detailed records of all maintenance activities and equipment performance

Collaborating with the team to ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry best practices

Participating in the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives

What we're looking for

Relevant degree or diploma in marine engineering or a related technical discipline

Minimum 3 years of experience as a marine service engineer or in a similar role

Strong knowledge of marine systems, including engines, generators, valves, pumps, and hydraulics

Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve issues efficiently

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Good communication skills to liaise with vessel crew and stakeholders

Commitment to maintaining a safe and organised work environment
