Responsible for performing a variety of technical support duties in one or more manufacturing areas, which may involve working with and assisting engineers.

Duties may be related to the selection, Assembly, repair and support of manufacturing equipment; technical support of one or more production/fabrication processes, product testing and troubleshooting; and/or technical analyses and problem-solving.

Carries out and/or assists in the development, improvement and optimization of standards, processes and procedures in the manufacturing environment, which may include cycle-time, yield, unit cost, quality, safety and compliance.

Works with engineers to develop, execute and track the testing and problem resolution of new and existing components, parts, products or processes/systems.

Perform mechanical and electrical assembly, installation, repair, and packaging of parts/equipment within designated manufacturing areas.

Carry out technical duties and daily production tasks that require planning, judgment, and problem-solving skills.

Conduct tests, experiments, and troubleshooting activities related to components, parts, products, and manufacturing systems.

Adhere to established safety protocols, operational procedures, and production schedules to ensure timely and compliant output.

Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment in accordance with 5S and/or GMP standards.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support efficient workflow, rapid issue resolution, and smooth overall operations.

May require some higher education or specialized training/certification, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Typically minimum of 3 years relevant experience for entry to this level.

Requires complete understanding of general and technical aspects of job.
