Summary of the Job: (Primary function of the job)
To purchase required materials according to Approved Suppliers List
Job Responsibilities: (Key responsibilities of the job)
Support Buyer administratively such as to check and prepare work orders, and collection, scanning and filing of documents
Prepare Check Form & Validate Parts.
Work closely with stakeholders and staff to ensure accurate DO warehouse received, entry and replacement are in order
Prepare packing for assembled part for clean and pack
Manage purchasing records and inventory level vs PO quality are tallied with supplier record, such as run & monitor subcontractor report for 2nd Process
Update freight cost and quotation into System and filed
Ensure proper supporting documents from supplier(s) are clear and accurate for Finance payment verification
PO issuance and ensures right price and quantity and correct part no. or manufacturing part no. on purchases
Update Purchasing / Planning on delivery schedule
Escalate late receiving to buyer to manage supplier(s) to drive timely delivery of order
Comply to purchasing policy
Maintains KPI
Assist in any other ad-hoc task assigned by your superior or management
Job Requirements:
Degree/ Diploma/ ITE in Mechanical Engineering
At least 3 years of relevant working experience in equipment manufacturing environment
Must have knowledge with machining parts process flow
Must have effective communication skills to drive suppliers to ensure on-time material delivery
Must have the knowledge and experience on purchasing end-to-end (E2E) process for manufacturing
Knowledgeable in ISO9001 requirements
Knowledge in ERP and Microsoft excel preferred
