Job description for Manager, External Fund Management at PRUDENTIAL INVESTMENT MANAGEMENT PRIVATE LIMITED
Principal Accountabilities:
We are looking for an analytics-savvy analyst to join External Fund Selection team. The objective of this sub-team is to make good fund selection and allocation decisions, and to build a scalable engine of growth for Group Chief Investment Office (GCIO).
The role will be responsible for performing fund selectionand due diligence activities within GCIO.
Core Competences Required:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in fund selection and / or investment management activities.
- Strong analytical background, with experience using data analytics and software as part of daily activities.
- Knowledge of investment strategies across asset classes and geographies. Ideally some knowledge of Fixed Income.
- Experience in portfolio modelling/construction or industry/stock analysis.
- Advanced programming (e.g. Python) for report automation, back testing, and portfolio analysis.
- Proficiency in quantitative analysis utilizing Bloomberg and Morningstar is essential.
- Qualifications - Financial certifications such as CFA, CAIA or FRM will be viewed favourably
