About the role

This role involves supervising and monitoring all M&E installation works, including electrical, plumbing, sanitary, fire protection, ACMV, and other building services. You will coordinate M&E activities with architectural, structural, and civil works to avoid clashes and delays, and ensure subcontractors perform works according to approved shop drawings, method statements, and project specifications.

Key responsibilities

Supervise and monitor all M&E installation works, including electrical, plumbing, sanitary, fire protection, ACMV, and other building services

Coordinate M&E activities with architectural, structural, and civil works to avoid clashes and delays

Ensure subcontractors perform works according to approved shop drawings, method statements, and project specifications

Attend site meetings and coordinate with consultants, clients, and subcontractors on technical and site matters

Conduct regular inspections to ensure M&E works comply with project requirements and quality standards

Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations and company safety policies

Conduct regular site safety inspections and toolbox meetings

Review M&E drawings, specifications, and technical submissions

Monitor material deliveries and ensure availability of resources for site activities

Coordinate testing and commissioning activities with consultants and relevant authorities

Requirements:

Diploma, NITEC, Higher NITEC, or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or related discipline

Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in construction projects

Experience in HDB, residential, commercial, institutional, or industrial projects preferred

Familiarity with local authority requirements and construction practices in Singapore

Good understanding of M&E systems and building services

Ability to interpret construction drawings and technical specifications

Strong communication and coordination skills

Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Ability to work independently and under pressure

Team player with strong attention to detail
