Job Description

Responsible for MEP Design, Review project specifications and technical clarifications, Identify/check drawing discrepancies.

Responsible for MEP Interpretation of tender specifications, review project specifications drawings and any other relevant documents.

Taking off quantities, obtaining quotations from subcontractors and supplier

Provide estimates and evaluate costing to achieve competitive Design costing for tender submission

Documents preparation for sourcing of quotations for both pre and post tender stages

Preparation of tender evaluation, conduct negotiation with subcontractors & suppliers

Able to Liaise with Site Personnel, Suppliers, Subcontractors, Consultants and/or Architects for all project-related matters.

 Liaise with the Procurement Department to ensure that all material are procured in accordance with the project schedule

 To attend progress meetings, technical meetings, material submission meetings and etc to capture all variation claims and potential variation works and time implication.

Assist Project Manager in Supervising and Coordination of  Mechanical and Electrical works.

 To ensure a timely closure of all main contract and subcontract final accounts.

Any other duties that are deemed required to complete the work

Job Requirement

Possess degree/diploma (Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering /Building/ Quantity Surveying) or similar

Minimum 1 to 2 years of work experience in Construction industry

Good written communication skills

Good track record

Able to work on multiple projects, within simultaneous timeline

Highly self-motivated, good working attitude with high level of professionalism & integrity

Well-versed in MS offices tools i.e. Words, Excel and PowerPoint

Strong understanding of M&E methodologies and best practices.
