What you'll be doing?

Engineering Support — Provide comprehensive M&E engineering support to the M&E Manager, Project Manager, and Planning Manager, contributing meaningfully to the successful delivery of projects from start to finish.

Stakeholder Coordination — Liaise and collaborate with clients, consultants, consultant representatives (RE/RTO), relevant authorities, and subcontractors to proactively address and resolve M&E issues and challenges as they arise.

Technical Problem-Solving — Work closely with M&E subcontractors and the structural and architectural teams to identify and resolve drawing discrepancies and technical issues on site, keeping projects moving forward.

Project Meeting Participation — Actively engage in project and progress meetings to ensure alignment with master program schedules and key project milestones.

Drawings & Documentation Management — Manage and maintain M&E drawings and site documentation to uphold accuracy, version control, and accessibility for all relevant parties.

Submissions & Approvals — Oversee the timely production, submission, and approval of M&E shop drawings, materials submissions, and method statements prior to implementation.

Site Activity Coordination — Plan, coordinate, and supervise all M&E site activities to ensure they are executed on schedule and in accordance with approved plans and specifications.

Team Supervision & Guidance — Lead and support M&E staff, supervisors, and subcontractors in adhering to approved shop drawings, materials, and method statements, fostering a culture of quality and accountability.

Progress Reporting — Prepare accurate and comprehensive M&E progress reports to keep stakeholders informed and support sound project decision-making.

Testing & Commissioning — Coordinate and manage all M&E Testing and Commissioning (T&C) activities to meet project requirements and timelines.

Authority Inspections — Collaborate with consultants to develop and implement site inspection schedules to facilitate government authority approvals.

Safety Compliance — Partner closely with the EHS Department to champion and enforce strict adherence to safety regulations across all site activities.

Who are they looking for?

Engineering Qualification — A degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related discipline forms a strong foundation for success in this role.

Relevant Site Experience — A minimum of 3 years of experience with a Main Contractor in project management and/or site coordination for building or civil engineering projects is required

Other Information:

Working Hours: 5.5 days, Mon to Fri 8am-6pm, Sat 8am-1230pm

Location: Ang Mo Kio

Salary: $4000 - $5500
