Job description for Logistics Executive at KYEC

Role Responsibilities

·         Coordinate daily inbound and outbound logistics activities to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.

·         Arrange transportation, schedule pickups/deliveries, and communicate with carriers or freight forwarders.

·         Prepare and verify shipping documents such as DOs, invoices, packing lists, and customs documentation.

·         Ensure all logistics transactions are updated accurately in ERP/WMS systems.

·         Monitor shipment status and proactively resolve delivery issues, delays, or exceptions.

·         Liaise with customers, suppliers, and internal departments (Warehouse, Purchasing, Customer Service, Production) on logistics requirements.

·         Track inventory movement and support monthly or periodic stock counts.

·         Review freight charges, coordinate billing matters, and ensure cost accuracy.

·         Ensure compliance with logistics SOPs, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

·         Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance logistics efficiency and service level.

·         Maintain strong working relationships with vendors, forwarders, and 3PL partners.

·         Prepare logistics-related reports such as delivery performance, freight cost analysis, and shipment tracking summaries.



 Role Requirements

·         Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related fields preferred.

·         1–3 years of working experience in logistics, shipping, or supply chain operations.

·         Knowledge of shipping terms (Incoterms), transportation processes, and customs procedures is an advantage.

·         Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP/WMS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).

·         Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

·         Good communication and coordination skills with internal teams and external partners.

·         Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

·         Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset.

·         Positive attitude, strong teamwork spirit, and customer-service orientation.
