Job description for Logistics Engineer at ROBOX SG PTE.LTD.
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily import and export logistics operations, including shipment coordination, logistics tracking, customs documentation, and exception handling to ensure timely and compliant cargo movement;
Responsible for customs compliance activities, including monitoring relevant customs regulations and trade requirements across Asia, North America, and Europe;
Lead the application for STP, AEO certifications, Certificate of Origin and other trade-related certifications;
Support new product introduction (NPI) activities, including HS code classification and import/export compliance preparation;
Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth logistics operations and timely issue resolution;
Review and improve logistics workflows, including third-party warehouse operations, to enhance process standardization and operational efficiency;
Support logistics solution planning, including transportation arrangements, warehouse coordination, and preliminary logistics cost evaluation;
Support packaging-related activities, including label maintenance, supplier packaging review, and returnable packaging management;
Support daily supply chain operations and ad-hoc tasks, including cross-functional coordination, data tracking, reporting, and issue resolution.
Job Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Trade, Business Administration, or related disciplines;
Over 3 years of experience in import & export logistics, customs compliance and supply chain operations;
Familiar with Singapore customs regulations, international shipping processes, and cross-border logistics operations;
Experience in STP (Secure Trade Partnership) / AEO certification projects or Certificate of Origin (CO) management is an added advantage;
Good written and spoken communication skills in both English and Chinese to support coordination with regional stakeholders, suppliers, customers, and government authorities;
Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment;
Familiar with ERP systems or logistics-related systems;
Experience in automotive parts, electronics manufacturing, or related manufacturing industries is preferred.
