About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Logistics Assistant to join the team at Halcyon Technology Singapore Pte. Ltd. This is a full-time position based in the Kallang Central Region. As a Logistics Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our warehousing, storage and distribution operations. You will assist in ensuring the smooth flow of goods through our supply chain, contributing directly to our operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your logistics expertise within a dynamic and growing organisation.

What you'll be doing

Receiving, checking and recording incoming goods and shipments into the warehouse management system

Organising and storing goods in designated locations, maintaining accurate inventory records

Preparing goods for dispatch by picking items from stock based on customer orders and packing lists

Labelling, wrapping and packaging items for shipment in a safe and efficient manner

Assisting with the loading and unloading of delivery vehicles and ensuring goods are properly secured

Conducting regular stock counts and cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy

Identifying and reporting discrepancies, damaged goods or stock inconsistencies to supervisors

Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment in the warehouse

Supporting warehouse team members with various tasks to ensure smooth daily operations

Assisting with data entry and documentation related to logistics and inventory management

What we're looking for

High school diploma or equivalent qualification, with a preference for relevant logistics or warehouse certifications

Prior experience in a warehouse, distribution centre or logistics environment is desirable

Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks

Attention to detail and accuracy when handling inventory records and documentation

Physical capability to perform manual handling and repetitive tasks in a warehouse environment

Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team

Familiarity with warehouse management systems and basic computer literacy is advantageous

A proactive attitude, reliability and willingness to learn and develop new skills

Safety awareness and commitment to following health and safety procedures
