Job Title: BBQ Grilling Server (Part-time)
Job Level: Leader
Department: F&B Operations
Weekday Rate: $18/hour + $2 performance incentive
Weekend Rate: $21/hour + $4 performance incentive
Schedule: Minimum 3 days/week, 27 hours/week minimum, up to 35 hours/week
Note: Incentives based on performance and shift regularity; below satisfactory performance results in base pay only
Overall Job Objectives:
The Tableside BBQ Grilling Server Lead is mainly responsible for preparing and grilling foods to meet specific customer preferences, and required to handle minimal tasks in other areas of the kitchen in addition to their grill stations.
PERFORMANCE EVALUATION: Incentive eligibility reviewed regularly based on shift regularity, customer feedback, revenue generation, and incident-free VIP service. Consistent excellence required to maintain incentive compensation.
Key responsibilities:
1. INITIAL PLACEMENT
All new hires start at Assistant Griller level regardless of experience
Demonstrate mastery of Drim's standards and menu before elevation to Lead role
Learn proprietary techniques and storytelling approach
2. ELOQUENT MENU PRESENTATION
Explain menu items with sophistication and cultural authenticity
Tell compelling stories about meat sourcing, aging, and preparation
Articulate flavor profiles, cooking techniques, and pairing recommendations
Represent Drim's brand with polished communication and expertise
3. VIP CUSTOMER RECOGNITION & SERVICE
Proactively identify VIP guests and high-value customers
Provide exceptional, personalized service without prompting
Anticipate needs and exceed expectations consistently
Handle VIP situations without incident or management intervention
Build relationships that drive customer loyalty and repeat business
4. PERFORMANCE EXCELLENCE
Maintain consistent attendance and schedule reliability
Execute flawless tableside grilling presentations
Drive revenue through strategic upselling and customer engagement
Serve as role model for junior staff
5. LEADERSHIP & STANDARDS
Uphold the highest service and culinary standards
Mentor Assistant Grillers and servers
Contribute to continuous improvement of service protocols
Represent Drim's values in every customer interaction
Qualifications of the role:
Minimum of 1 year tableside grilling experience at a reputable restaurant, or at refined Korean restaurant
Ability to speak simple to average English and other local languages, to provide good customer service for customers.
Strong sense of responsibility and a hardworking individual.
Willingness to work as a team player when preparing dishes and coordinating meal service
Understanding of portions when cutting and slicing meat, poultry etc.
