About the role

As a Kitchen Helper at K.COOK KOREAN BBQ', you will play a crucial role in supporting the smooth operation of our fast-paced, vibrant kitchen. Joining our hardworking team, you will be responsible for a variety of essential duties to ensure the successful delivery of our high-quality Korean BBQ dishes. This full-time position is located at our Woodleigh Central Region restaurant, offering competitive pay and the opportunity to develop your skills in a dynamic hospitality environment.

What you'll be doing

Assisting our talented chefs with food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and portioning ingredients

Maintaining a clean and organised work area, ensuring all equipment and surfaces are sanitised to the highest standards

Restocking and replenishing ingredients and supplies as needed

Supporting the cooking process by helping with tasks such as plating, garnishing, and serving dishes

Adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations to uphold our commitment to customer satisfaction

Working collaboratively with the kitchen team to achieve efficient and timely service

What we're looking for

Previous experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment, preferably in the hospitality or food service industry

A keen eye for detail and the ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure

Strong teamwork skills and a positive, cooperative attitude
