Overall Job Objectives:
We are seeking dedicated and flexible Commis / Kitchen Assistants to join our dynamic kitchen team. This is an exciting opportunity to support kitchen operations and ensure smooth service delivery. You will work alongside experienced cooks to prepare food and maintain strict hygiene and safety standards, while contributing to the overall success of the kitchen.
Core Responsibilities:
Assist with food preparation tasks, including washing, chopping, and seasoning ingredients.
Ensure food items are stored at appropriate temperatures to maintain food safety standards.
Safely operate kitchen appliances such as blenders, ovens, and grills.
Keep food preparation areas clean and ensure all utensils and equipment are sanitized at the end of each shift.
Help handle food orders and support special service requests during peak hours to ensure smooth operations.
Job Specifications:
At least 1 year of experience in a kitchen or food-related role.
Hygiene course certification or equivalent.
Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment.
Versatile and adaptable to changing tasks.
Experience with cold dish preparation or ingredient handling is a plus.
Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays, based on business needs.
Candidates must be legally eligible to work in Singapore. Work visa sponsorship is not provided for this role.
