Job Summary
Support the deployment, configuration, and testing of BMS and EPMS applications while collaborating with project teams and customers to deliver engineering solutions aligned with contract and company standards.
Responsibilities
Assist in deploying and configuring Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Management Systems (EPMS) applications to meet project requirements
Support technical discussions with customers alongside senior engineers to resolve system-related issues
Coordinate with project team members to track engineering tasks and report progress effectively
Participate in customer meetings as a technical support member to clarify project details and requirements
Assist in preparing and executing Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) under supervision to validate system performance
Support basic and detailed design activities ensuring compliance with contract specifications and internal standards
Produce engineering deliverables including system architecture diagrams, point lists and schedules, control panel drawings, equipment schedules, operation descriptions, graphics development, and database setup
Assist with system testing, installation support, commissioning, and warranty activities to ensure successful project delivery
Learn and apply standard engineering processes, tools, and documentation practices to maintain quality and consistency
Collaborate with local and global teams while adhering to company and project standards to ensure alignment and quality
Required competencies and certifications
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Automation, Mechatronics, Control Engineering, or related field
Basic understanding of Building Management Systems (BMS) and/or Electrical Power Management Systems (EPMS) including PLC, DDC controllers, or SCADA systems (training provided)
Exposure or academic knowledge of HVAC systems such as Chiller systems, Air Handling Units (AHU), Fan Coil Units (FCU), and Ventilation systems
Willingness to learn system programming and configuration tools
Preferred competencies and qualifications
Familiarity with Schneider Electric products (not required)
Basic understanding of electrical systems
