Job Description

Job Summary

The Data Analyst Intern (6-months period from Mar - Aug) will transform raw data into actionable insights to support decision-making across marketing, finance, and operations. You will collaborate with vendors and internal teams to enhance data quality and efficiency, develop dashboards and reports, and communicate findings to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support data analytics and enterprise solution initiatives by conducting data feasibility assessments, performing detailed analysis, and troubleshooting issues to ensure project success
• Build interactive dashboards and generate reports using BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau to visualize key business metrics
• Perform data extraction and analysis using SQL and spreadsheets to provide accurate and timely insights
• Collaborate with business teams to gather data requirements, validate data accuracy, and document data processes for transparency and consistency
• Conduct exploratory data analysis, develop basic predictive models, and assist in analytics or machine learning pilot projects under supervision
• Prepare clear documentation and assist in delivering system training to enhance user adoption and knowledge transfer
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend improvements to data analytics processes and tools

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field
• Relevant certifications in Microsoft technologies (e.g., Power Platform, Azure), RPA tools, or data analytics platforms are advantageous
• Experience in software development, application or system design, and data analysis or BI reporting
• Exposure to financial, manufacturing, or trading environments is a plus
• Familiarity with Microsoft technologies such as SQL, .NET, and Power Platform, along with an interest in emerging technologies like AI or RPA
• Exposure to data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and basic programming languages such as SQL, Python, or RPA Platform or tools
• Meticulous attention to detail with eagerness to learn and apply new technologies
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate within a team to support multiple projects
