Job description for IT Infrastructure / Security and EUC Engineer at BDO
Responsibilities:
Execute IT strategies that support organizational and security objectives.
Act as a senior technical escalation point for infrastructure and security-related issues.
Manage and maintain network and system infrastructure, including Microsoft 365, Azure (hybrid), Hyper-V, Aruba Networks, and Palo Alto firewalls.
Ensure security of Microsoft 365 environments, covering Entra ID, Purview, Defender, DLP, Intune, and SharePoint Online.
Support Azure hybrid operations and assist in cloud migration from on-premises environments.
Implement and maintain ISO 27001 and ITIL frameworks, including documentation, SOPs, and baseline configurations.
Conduct security assessments, system hardening, vulnerability remediation, and patch management.
Apply CIS controls and enterprise security best practices across infrastructure platforms.
Support daily IT operations including change, problem, and release management.
Coordinate disaster recovery and business continuity planning and testing.
Collaborate with vendors on infrastructure operations, security initiatives, and projects.
Perform after-hours maintenance and patching when required to minimize business impact.
Support EUC
Requirements:
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in infrastructure and security engineering.
Strong experience in network infrastructure, system administration, and security operations.
Hands-on expertise with Hyper-V, Aruba Networks, Palo Alto firewalls, and Microsoft 365 security solutions.
Solid understanding of ISO 27001 compliance, ITIL practices, and CIS hardening standards.
Experience with vulnerability management, patching, and infrastructure hardening.
Ability to manage multiple initiatives, work with vendors, and operate effectively under change.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
