About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled IP Network Engineer to join our team at VSTECS (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. in the Lavender Central Region. As an IP Network Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design, implementation, and maintenance of our complex IP-based network infrastructure. What you'll be doing

Design, configure, and deploy robust and scalable IP networks to support the company's business objectives

Implement and maintain various network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points

Troubleshoot and resolve complex network-related issues, ensuring optimal performance and reliability

Continuously monitor and analyse network traffic to identify potential bottlenecks or security threats

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align network infrastructure with the evolving needs of the business

Provide technical expertise and guidance to assist other IT professionals and end-users

Stay up-to-date with the latest networking technologies, trends, and best practices

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field

Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an IP Network Engineer or in a similar role

Proven expertise in designing, implementing, and troubleshooting IP-based networks

Strong knowledge of network protocols, such as TCP/IP, VLAN, OSPF, BGP, and VPN

Familiarity with network management tools and monitoring software

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Excellent communication and documentation skills
