Job description for Inventory Planning Executive at Audi

This position plays a key role in coordinating with internal and external supply chain stakeholders to maintain healthy inventory levels and achieve service KPIs. The candidate will prepare regular reports/dashboards, monitor data trends to identify stock anomalies, and support system user testing (SAP/IDIS).

This role offers regional exposure across Volkswagen Group brands in the Asia-Pacific region, providing opportunities to work with cross-functional teams, international stakeholders, and advanced supply chain system to support aftersales operations.

Evaluate IDIS Purchase Requisitions daily, convert into Purchase Orders (POs), issue to suppliers, and follow up on order backlogs to ensure timely procurement and delivery of car parts and workshop equipment.

Support inventory replenishment planning to maintain targeted service level, minimize excess and obsolete stock, and control operational cost.

Coordinate closely with the warehouse and operations team to ensure smooth and timely inbound deliveries.

Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders within VRAS and VW HQ to ensure reliable supply, optimize procurement cost, improve delivery lead time, and support long-term supply chain stability.

Conduct regular inventory analysis (service level, stock depth, surplus, aging stock, open POs), and prepare

accurate weekly/monthly reports and dashboards for management review — proactively flagging abnormal trends, identifying likely root causes, and recommending corrective actions.

Undertake any ad-hoc projects and assignments as required by management.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly advanced Excel skills.

Experience with Power BI, Power Automate, Office 365, and SQL.

Good understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes and inventory management principles.
