This role will be part of our Cocoa business, and we provide great natural cocoa ingredients to customers all over the world, working with partners across the supply chain to create indulgent treats for consumers and a positive future for cocoa. The portfolio of our cocoa company includes both legacy brands and newer faces; deZaan, Unicao, Joanes, Macao etc. All are market leaders that can meet our clients’ specific regional or global cocoa needs.
Position Responsibilities:
Blending of cake and operating pulverizing systems.
Monitor and control of the process parameter to optimize the production output.
Takes personal responsibility for quality in all aspects that will have impact on product quality like:
collecting cake and powder sample to check sieverest, pH, color, fat results.
collect cake sample from silo for micro check.
do correction if the results fail
Carries out other related duties such as:
bagging of by product
GMP cleaning
perform metal detector checks
updating ISO forms
Communicates clearly with supervisor and colleague at end of shift by highlighting the production status, output and any items bearing on safety, quality and efficiency.
Inspects and maintain housekeeping of assigned areas for clean and safe working conditions as well as ensuring that personal protection equipment, safety and fire-fighting equipment are maintained ready for use.
To be successful in the role, the incumbent should have the following qualities:
Minimum holder of NITEC/higher NITEC with some experience in related field or equivalent
Food production experience in a factory environment preferred
Familiar with good manufacturing practices, safety procedures
Good troubleshooting skill
Basic awareness of industrial standards
Good knowledge in maintenance and operating principles of production
Must be able to work 3 rotating shifts (8-hour)
