Company Overview

We are a Singapore-based design & build firm specializing in commercial offices, laboratories, and cleanroom environments. We deliver end-to-end solutions, creating functional, compliant, and high-performance spaces for our clients.

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented, highly coordinated HVAC/ACMV Engineer to lead the end-to-end mechanical scope for our commercial office fit-outs and specialized technical workplace projects.

In this role, you will bridge the gap between design concept and physical execution. You will be responsible for conducting cooling load calculations, reviewing engineering schematic drawings, coordinating structural/electrical interfaces, and managing site testing and commissioning. The ideal candidate has strong familiarity with Singapore building codes, local authority submission processes, and hands-on site management.

  • Design and develop HVAC / ACMV system layouts, calculations, and specifications.
  • Prepare engineering drawings, technical submissions, and documentation.
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, interior designers, contractors, and suppliers throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct site inspections and attend project meetings to monitor work progress.
  • Review shop drawings, material submissions, and method statements.
  • Ensure ACMV installations comply with project specifications, safety requirements, and local codes/regulations.
  • Perform heat load calculations, equipment selection, and system sizing.
  • Resolve technical issues and provide engineering support during project execution.
  • Monitor project schedules, costs, and work quality.
  • Support testing, commissioning, and project handover activities.
  • Prepare comprehensive technical submissions, equipment specifications, and operation & maintenance manuals (OMM)
  • Lead inter-disciplinary clash-detection and spatial coordination between ACMV ducting, electrical cable trays, fire protection sprinters, and structural ceilings.
  • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or related field.
  • NEBB certified HVAC engineer
  • Minimum 2–5 years of relevant HVAC/ACMV experience.
  • Knowledge of ACMV systems, ventilation systems, chilled water systems, and air-conditioning principles.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit/BIM is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with local regulations and industry standards.
  • Good coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Possess a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Experience in workplace, commercial, cleanroom, industrial, or fit-out projects.
  • Knowledge of energy efficiency and sustainability practices.
  • BIM coordination experience is an added advantage.
