The successful candidate will be responsible for developing Proof of Concepts (POCs), leveraging modern AI development tools, ensuring code quality from external vendors, and streamlining modern DevOps and testing pipelines.

Key Responsibilities & Scope of Work

Application Development & Prototyping: Build and develop robust Proof of Concepts (POCs) and features for national digital health services.

Code Review & Quality Assurance: Review, optimize, and fine-tune code generated by modern AI development tools as well as code delivered by outsourced software vendors.

Automation & DevOps: Prepare and execute automated testing; continuously streamline processes related to code development, peer review, deployment, and testing.

Agile Delivery: Actively participate in Agile development ceremonies, ensuring rapid, iterative, and high-quality software delivery.

Adaptive Project Support: Adapt to changing project priorities, with the flexibility to be re-assigned to different digital products/projects based on HPB’s organizational needs.

Requirements & Qualifications

Minimum Education

Degree in Information Technology (IT), Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a strictly related field.

Singapore Government Tech Stack: Hands-on development experience utilizing the Singapore Government Tech Stack (SGTS).

Agile Methodologies: Active working experience with Agile methodologies, tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence), and sprint-based delivery.

Cloud Technology: Hands-on experience in Cloud Technology architecture, deployment, and implementation (e.g., AWS, GCC).

Preferred Skills & Added Advantages

AI & Automation: Exposure to and practical usage of AI tools in software development and code generation.

Operations & Compliance: Experience supporting application operations, handling audit fieldworks, and managing Problem/Incident Management lifecycles.

Government Security: Strong understanding of Government security guidelines, including the Instruction Manual (IM) on IT management.

Domain Expertise: Prior experience or domain knowledge in the local Singapore healthcare sector.

Soft Skills: Exceptional problem-solving capabilities, analytical thinking, and strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
