About the role

As a Freight Manager (Operation) at AGI Freight Singapore Pte Ltd, you'll play a crucial role in overseeing the efficient movement of freight and cargo across the Changi Point East Region. This fast-paced, fulltime position demands a strong operational skillset and an unwavering commitment to delivering excellent customer service.

What you'll be doing

Coordinate the timely and cost-effective transportation of freight and cargo through various modes of transport

Maintain strong working relationships with carriers, logistics partners and customers to ensure seamless delivery

Oversee the warehousing and distribution of goods, including inventory management and order fulfilment

Analyse data and KPIs to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings

Supervise and mentor a team of freight forwarding professionals

Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations and standards

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years' experience in a freight/cargo forwarding role, preferably within the manufacturing, transport and logistics industry

Excellent operational and logistics planning skills with a strong commercial acumen

Proven track record of managing teams and driving continuous improvement

Proficient in relevant software systems and data analysis

Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

Relevant freight forwarding certifications (e.g. DGR certification) would be highly advantageous
