About the role
As an Assistant Manager / Manager (Accounting & Finance) at The Place Holdings Limited, you will play a crucial role in the company's financial operations and reporting. Based in our Central boulevard office in the Central Region, this full-time position will need you to be hands on all aspects of financial accounting and reporting, ensuring the business maintains strong financial control and governance.
What you'll be doing
Prepare and analyze financial statements, including profit and loss, balance sheets, and cash flow reports
Prepare the month-end and year-end closing, including group consolidation and ensuring timely and accurate reporting
Prepare the bank reconciliation, general ledger, accounts payable and receivable reports
Prepare Sustainability Report and Annual Report, ensuring compliance with SGX listing rules
Collaborate with department heads to provide financial insights and support decision-making
Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, legislation, and internal policies
Contribute to the development and implementation of financial strategies and systems
Hands on to complete tasks individually
Liaise with external auditors, internal auditors, company secretary, tax agent and regulatory authortities
What we're looking for
Degree and/or Professional Qualification with 6-8+ years of post-qualification experience
Extensive experience in financial accounting and reporting, ideally within a fast-paced, complex organization
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Proficient in using financial software and spreadsheet tools
Adaptable and able to thrive in a changing business environment
Bilingual in English and Chinese (written and spoken)
