Robust Technology was established in January 2004 in Hsinchu County, Taiwan. Our primary business focuses on the sale and repair of semiconductor equipment parts. In recent years, to meet the growing demand for Industry 4.0, we have leveraged over 20 years of experience in semiconductor robotic arm maintenance, improvement, design, and development. Building on this expertise, we have actively invested in and offer factory automation services centered around robotic arms to our clients.

We are seeking a dedicated partner to join us in expanding our customer base and growing alongside Robust Technology (Singapore). This role offers an exciting opportunity to work directly on the fab floor, solving real semiconductor equipment challenges for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

1.       Provide on-site technical service and troubleshooting at customer fabs in Singapore; respond promptly to equipment abnormalities and breakdowns.

2.       Assist customers with robot installation, teaching, repair, and preventive maintenance to ensure stable system operation.

3.       Liaise closely with internal teams and Taiwan HQ to coordinate parts, technical support, and OEM principal resources for faster resolution.

4.       Prepare and maintain service records, Failure Analysis (FA) reports, and customer communication logs.

5.       Participate in on-call rotation and respond to emergency callouts as scheduled by the team.

6.       Build strong working relationships with customer engineering teams to drive customer satisfaction and long-term partnership.

7.       Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

Essential

•         Diploma or Bachelor's degree, preferably in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline.

•         Basic English communication skills (listening, speaking, reading, writing) for liaison with customer engineers and Taiwan HQ.

•         Hands-on, logical, and able to perform fault diagnosis and equipment servicing independently.

•         Able to commit to on-call rotation and occasional after-hours emergency callouts.

Preferred

•         Prior on-site experience in semiconductor wafer fabs.

•         Familiarity with cleanroom protocols and semiconductor equipment service procedures.

•         Exposure to OEM principals or robot systems such as LAM, TEL, Brooks, AMAT, Yaskawa, Kawasaki, Hirata, etc.

•         Mandarin communication skills are a plus.

•         Fundamental knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and control systems.
