Job description for Field Engineer at ROOTS Communications
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Project Manager on site work, supervisor and monitor the progress of sub-contractors and work closely with other site operations staff to meet the project schedules.
- Adhere to site procedures and safe work practices.
- Conduct site survey, collect data and/or perform test per set procedures.
- Conduct project progress meetings, as well as reviewing schedules.
- Prepare As built documentation.
- Any other ad-hoc task assigned.
Requirements:
- Engineering Diploma, related engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 1-2 years of M&E project management.
- Able to multi-tasking, independent in a fast pace environment.
- Able to manage project operation with minimum supervision.
- Good knowledge of Civil, Mechanical, Electrical (CME) works, cabling practices, RF, cellular is advantageous.
- Customers oriented with good communications skills
- Possess Safety certification such as SCWSH (previously called BCSS), WAH assessor is an advantage.
