Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Field Electrical Engineer/Technician (with degree qualification), located in Gelang Patah, Johor. The responsibilities include troubleshooting & diagnosing of PLC systems, Electrical components and hydraulic systems.. The technician will ensure operational efficiency by performing regular inspections and addressing any mechanical or operational challenges. Collaboration with on-site teams and adherence to safety protocols are key aspects of the role.

Qualifications

Proficient in troubleshooting and diagnosing PLC systems, Electrical components (Circuit components, Electric Motors, etc), hydraulic system issues, hydraulic pumps & motors and diesel engines.

Candidate will be involved in Equipment Operation, Maintenance and troubleshooting.

Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with PLC systems, hydraulic systems maintenance and repair.

Ability to follow safety guidelines and contribute to a safe working environment

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Relevant certifications or training in hydraulics or mechanical systems are a plus

Previous experience in offshore or industrial equipment maintenance is advantageous

Willing to relocate and work in Gelang Patah, Johor Bahru, Malaysia. Candidates near Gelang Patah, Johor will be preferred.

Willing to go offshore during projects and shall get additional offshore allowance on top of the Basic Pay
