Workplace at Calshot Road, near Selarang Drug Rehabilitation Centre in the Changi-Pasir Ris region
Degree or diploma in Facilities/Building Management or Engineering
Minimum 5 years' experience in Facilities Management (FM) in a production or manufacturing environment
Serves as the primary point of contact for departmental requests regarding but not limited to:
○ Office renovations and reconfiguration
○ Flooring repair and reinstatement works
○ Relocation of office furniture or equipment
Provide technical evaluation and advisory to requestors regarding:
○ Feasibility assessments of the requests
○ Regulatory compliance and approval requirements e.g. BCA – permits; SCDF – fire safety, layout, and access compliance and; MOM – workplace safety, permit-to-work
Documentation & reporting, such as:
o Logging user requests and follow-up actions
o Preparing scope of works
o Project cost estimations
Conduct regular walkthroughs and attend department co-ordination meetings
Support and sustain Facilities and Energy department programmes
Ensure relevant licenses and certifications related to Facilities Management are achieved
Ensure timely execution of requests, activities, and tasks related to Hard and Soft FM services.
Recommend cyclical replacements, repair & renovation works (when needed)
Respond to fault alerts (when needed)
Provide technical inputs in the procurement of products, services, and administration of contracts
Liaise and co-ordinate with sub-contractors/vendors to ensure that works/services are completed on time.
Comply with controls identified in risk assessments
Keep up-to-date with advancements in best practices and/or new technologies (e.g., Smart Facility, Smart HSE) to improve efficiency, enhance work processes
Drives cost reductions
Assist in the preparation and presentation of reports for internal/external stakeholders on projects, performances, key risks and actions
Support budgeting for the Facilities function
Evaluate requests for A&A and building facility works and provide technical advisories to requestors
Oversee A&A and building facility works to ensure timely completion
Oversee the physical hook-up of tools and equipment by ensuring proper connections for gas, chemical, electrical, and other utilities
Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and system owners to ensure smooth installation and timely completion of maintenance or projects without causing interruptions to production
Liaise with contractors for annual electrical shutdown maintenance whilst ensuring that critical equipment is supported by alternate power source & back-up generators
Ensure contractors adhere to specifications, safe practices and schedule for completion
Preferably has bizSAFE Level 2 or higher
Proficient in MS Office tools
