Requirements
We are seeking an IT Executive to provide reliable, responsive and user-focused IT support across the organisation. The role supports day-to-day technology operations, including user devices, business applications, cloud-based services and endpoint management through Microsoft Intune. The successful candidate will also contribute to IT documentation, staff enablement and the coordination of IT projects.
- Provide support for end users across IT services, including infrastructure, hardware, software and business application issues.
- Log, track and update support tickets, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication with users.
- Collaborate with colleagues, vendors and stakeholders to deliver effective and consistent IT support.
- Assist with the setup, configuration and management of laptops, tablets and mobile devices using Microsoft Intune.
- Carryout regular checks and basic audits to support compliance with internal security policies and IT best practices.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date IT documentation, guides and internal knowledge materials.
- Conduct IT workshops or user briefings to help staff use digital tools effectively and securely.
- Keep current with relevant IT tools, platforms and service updates, and recommend practical improvements to existing processes and systems.
- Contribute to business process improvements by identifying recurring issues and documenting effective resolutions.
- IT Project Support
- Support IT project planning by assisting with scope definition, objectives, deliverables, timelines and stakeholder coordination.
- Coordinate project activities, resources and dependencies to help ensure smooth execution.
- Assist with tracking project progress against milestones, KPIs, and maintain project documentation such as plans, status updates, risk registers and issue logs.
- Any other duties as assigned.
- Diploma or higher qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline.
- Minimum three years of experience supporting IT infrastructure and end users in a medium-sized enterprise environment.
- Working knowledge of IT infrastructure and technologies, including networks, databases and business applications.
- Hands-on familiarity with Microsoft Intune, Microsoft M365 products, cloud service support, ticketing processes and IT documentation are essential.
- Strong troubleshooting ability across applications and hardware systems.
- Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with users, colleagues, vendors and stakeholders.
- Service-oriented and patient when supporting users with varying levels of technical knowledge.
- Willing to learn and support new applications as job scope evolves.
