What you'll be doing?
Lead Operations: Guide the operations team in planning and executing events, ensuring alignment with goals and timelines.
Manage Projects: Oversee projects from inception to completion, mitigating risks and adapting to changes.
Client Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their needs and ensuring expectations are met.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with various teams to align operations with event goals and budgets.
Budget Management: Manage event budgets, procure resources, and negotiate contracts to optimize costs.
On-site Supervision: Direct on-site operations, ensuring health and safety compliance and resolving issues in real-time.
Post-event Evaluation: Perform evaluations, collect feedback, and prepare reports to identify improvements.
Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and vendors.
Team Development: Mentor and develop the operations team, fostering a high-performance culture.
Industry Awareness: Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to enhance event offerings.
Who are they looking for?
Education: Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experienced Professional: Minimum 5 years of event operations experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
Leadership Skills: Demonstrated success in managing multiple events concurrently and leading teams.
Organizational Skills: Exceptional project management skills and attention to detail.
Compliance Knowledge: Knowledge of health, safety, and regulatory compliance, including risk management.
Travel Willingness: Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Local Knowledge: Familiarity with Singapore's event industry and local vendors is advantageous.
Other Information:
Working Day: Mon to Fri, 9am-6pm
Working Location: Bendemeer
Salary: $4800-$6200
Performance bonus + AWS
