Job description for Event Operations Executive at IMC Group

IMC Group Asia is a entertainment company with satellite offices in Chengdu, Osaka, Hong Kong, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok. Headquartered in Singapore, the group’s expertise lies in live show production, creative development, concert and event management such as One Love Asia Festivals and Stefanie Sun Aut Nihilo Concert 2025. Core Responsibilities

Event planning and coordination: Assist in developing event plans, managing timelines, and overseeing logistics like venue setup, catering, and equipment.

Staff and vendor management: Coordinate and manage event staff, volunteers, and external vendors and suppliers, including negotiating contracts and ensuring quality standards.

On-site management: Supervise the execution of events, manage on-ground operations, and troubleshoot issues as they arise in real-time.

Budget and administration: Support budget tracking, manage expenses, and handle administrative tasks like maintaining inventory and processing invoices.

Health and safety: Ensure all events comply with health, safety, and legal regulations.

Post-event evaluation: Conduct post-event analysis, gather feedback, and provide recommendations for future improvements.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Experience: Proven experience in event management or a similar role.

Skills: Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; problem-solving and decision-making skills; leadership and team management skills.

Technical skills: Proficiency with event management software and tools is often required.

Education: A bachelor's degree in event management, hospitality, or a related field is often preferred.

Typical Work Environment

The role is not desk-bound and requires being on-site at events, which can include evenings, weekends, and significant travel depending on the event.

The work environment can be fast-paced, demanding, and require the ability to handle stress and tight deadlines.
