• Tool owner of Visual inspection or test tools
• Manage new equipment start up, liaise with vendors, to acceptance of equipment for production.
• Lead Equipment improvements in OEE, Maintenance Cost, Preventive and Predictive Maintenance of assigned tool.
• Principal focus to lead and resolve all equipment related major and minor stoppages and to optimize equipment Uptime and performance while minimizing variability and supporting production team.
• Ensure all equipment PMs and PM specs are always up to date and all maintenance activities are completed on schedule and as per procedure.
• Lead and provide technical guidance to the team of equipment technicians in maintaining tool performance and Uptime.
• Lead continuous improvement projects and solutions in regard to Wafer Backend operations, in areas of UPH, Yield, Cost and Productivity.
• Ability to work in cross-functional teams and a multi-cultural environment
• Lead on spare part management, establish sufficient essential spares and consumables stock levels and cost minimization.
• Generate regular Equipment downtime pareto reports and analysing for any chronic/repeated issues.
• Able to perform testing activities using common equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, multi-meters, etc.
• Able to quickly learn and use various test and operational software, and have basic knowledge of networks and communications
• Works and implements special projects as assigned by Direct Supervisor.
• Responsible for housekeeping and conform to cleanroom protocols.
• Submit summarised weekly report to manager on the progress of CIP
• Act promptly with containment action on quality issues
• Prepare detailed 8D report and execute preventive measures in a timely manner
• Provide back up to other tool owners when required
