Job Summary:
Resorts World Sentosa is currently looking for a Mechanical Senior Engineer/Engineer to ensure the safe and reliable operation of all amusement rides and show equipment. The role will support the engineering validation, reliability-centered maintenance analysis, configuration control of all amusement rides/show equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead installation, key troubleshooting efforts and reliability improvements of amusement ride and show equipment, including mechanical components, structures, pneumatics, hydraulics, gas, etc
Support the development of effective maintenance regime to ensure the safety and reliability of ride and show attractions in the theme park.
Test the rides and shows to ensure compliance with requirements of local and overseas regulatory bodies
Prepare engineering reports and drawings through the use of CAD software (AutoCad/Solidworks) and conduct mechanical analysis for effective evaluation of the ride's safety & reliability
Perform high-level inspection and condition survey tasks to supplement routine scheduled inspections (by others)
Support Engineering change process and review of service bulletins
Ensure compliance of amusement ride safety regulations set by Building and Construction Authority (BCA)
Kindly note that the role requires working at heights and taking amusement rides occasionally as part of ride testing and inspection
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering,or related discipline
At least 3 years of experience in Mechanical / Manufacturing / Oil & Gas industry
Ability to perform shifts including weekends and public holidays
Skills:
Proficiency in engineering analysis and use of 3D CAD tools - Autocad/Solidworks
Proven experience of fabrication, machining and welding is an advantage
Able to thrive in a dynamic, result-driven environment
Able to manage multiple tasks effectively
Strong communication skills
Able to work collaboratively with diverse groups of technical team members
