Engineer (Engineering Services) – Airframe MRO

Location: 

The first 12 months in Singapore (subject to extension, if required)

Transition to the U.S. facility in Pensacola, Florida. thereafter, subject to work visa eligibility and requirements 


About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and driven Engineering graduate to join our Engineering Services team in a leading Airframe Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO) organisation. This role offers a structured development pathway, beginning with a fixed term contract placement at our Singapore facility, followed by an overseas assignment at our U.S. Airframe MRO operations.

This is an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about aviation engineering, offering hands-on exposure to aircraft maintenance operations, engineering support functions, and cross-regional collaboration.

 

Key Responsibilities

Provide engineering support to aircraft base maintenance activities, including heavy checks, structural repairs, and modifications.

Review, interpret, and apply Aircraft Maintenance Manuals (AMM), Structural Repair Manuals (SRM), and other OEM documentation.

Raise and manage Engineering Authorisations (EAs), Repair Schemes, and Technical Instructions.

Communicate with airframe/engine manufacturers and customers for technical advice and approval related to the repair work.

Support troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues encountered during maintenance.

Assist in defect analysis, reliability tracking, and root cause investigations.

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives targeting productivity, safety, and quality enhancement.

Support digitalisation and engineering process improvement projects.

Ensure all engineering activities comply with regulatory requirements (e.g., FAA, EASA, CAAS) and internal procedures.

Support audits and documentation reviews to maintain airworthiness and quality standards.

Provide on-site engineering support in a live production environment and collaborate with international teams.


Requirements

Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent

Basic understanding of aircraft systems, structures, and maintenance principles is advantageous

Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical publications is advantageous

Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced, operational environment

Willingness to support shift work or extended hours when required


Other information

Eligible for overseas deployment (U.S.) after initial training period

High level of adaptability and willingness to work overseas
