Job description for Electrical Engineer at Prima Limited
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team in the food manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will bring initiative and self motivation to design, improve, and maintain electrical installations and production automation lines, ensuring the highest standards of economy, safety, reliability, quality, and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the implementation of electrical design, installations and engineering projects to support business operations of the companies of Prima Group
Coordinate with project teams, consultants, end users, maintenance team of respective business units to commission production electrical and automation systems, ensuring alignment with designed specifications.
Assist in respective business unit to oversee their preventive maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting, providing expert technical support for all electrical and electronic systems and equipment.
Collaborate with maintenance team and end-users to address fault complaints and drive production-line enhancement initiatives.
Collaborate with Group Automation Department for executing MCC control design for Prima Flour Mill operation.
Collaborate with Procurement Department for sourcing competitive electrical solutions
To equip with LEW qualification to be able to perform electrical switching in the plant independently, if necessary.
Ensure fire prevention and the safety of personnel and equipment, maintaining strict compliance with safety regulations.
Be part of the energy team of the Group to optimize energy efficiency across all systems and equipment in the new factory.
Manage end-to-end project execution, including planning, design (proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and 3D preferred), coordination, installation, and commissioning. Handle evaluations, reporting, and liaise with authorities, contractors, and suppliers.
Conduct hands-on training for staff to ensure proficient operation of new electrical equipment and systems.
Undertake additional assignments as delegated by the management.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering / Power Engineering with a minimum of 3 years' related work experience, preferably in F&B or manufacturing industries.
Licensed Electrical Worker (LEW) certification is advantageous.
Proficiency in both Chinese and English.
