Main Job Responsibilities

Ensure timely collection and delivery of cargoes/ containers

Ensure proper documentation, e.g. delivery notes, pick up orders, etc

Adhere to all safety requirements while on the job and ensure full compliance with Workplace Safety & Health requirements

Vehicle maintenance and housekeeping

Report any vehicle or cargo/ container damage due to accident

Report any container number/ seal number discrepancy during the course of work

Proper handling of company assets and equipment

Submit driver’s D/O on a daily basis

Check and update vehicle daily checklist

Check and confirm delivery notes are endorsed & collect back before leaving customers premises

Feedback to Traffic Controller / Superior on any issues that arise at customers’ premises, for the purpose of information sharing with colleagues (other drivers)

Job Requirements

Possess valid Singapore Class 4 or 5 driving licence

Minimum 2 years' experience in driving a Prime Mover in Singapore

Familiar with PSA/Jurong Port procedures and requirements

Familiar Singapore roads and traffic regulations

Familiar with container yard operations

Familiar with Low Bed trucking

Good time management

Self-motivated

Good team player

Hardworking, positive attitude and committed to work

Accident free and clean driving records
