Role Summary:
We are seeking a hands-on Digital Workplace System Engineer to support endpoint automation, scripting, and operational support activities within a modern digital workplace environment.
The role will focus on endpoint troubleshooting, self-healing automation, scripting, and support of Digital Employee Experience (DEX) related platforms and use cases.
Experience with DEX platforms such as Tanium DEX, Nexthink, Nanoheal, or Lakeside SysTrack will be considered a strong advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Endpoint Support & Operations
Perform L1.5 operational support for endpoint-related incidents, alerts, and user experience issues.
Support troubleshooting and remediation activities for Windows endpoint environments.
Work closely with Service Desk and support teams to investigate recurring endpoint or performance issues.
Maintain operational procedures, documentation, and troubleshooting guides.
2. Automation & Scripting
Develop and maintain automation or self-healing scripts for common endpoint issues.
Develop scripts (e.g. PowerShell, VB Script or similar) based on identified automation and remediation use cases.
Support automation activities related to operational efficiency and endpoint remediation.
Assist in testing, deployment, and maintenance of automation workflows.
3. DEX Platform Support
Support the configuration, monitoring, and operational activities of DEX platforms.
Assist in monitoring endpoint telemetry, device health, and user experience insights through DEX dashboards.
Support integration and operational workflows with platforms such as ServiceNow where applicable.
Participate in identifying and improving DEX operational use cases and automation opportunities.
4. Monitoring & Continuous Improvement
Monitor endpoint health, operational alerts, and system performance trends.
Assist in analyzing recurring issues and recommending operational improvements.
Participate in continuous improvement and operational enhancement initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience:
Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline.
Minimum 2–4 years of experience in endpoint support, workplace engineering, EUC support, or system engineering environments.
Hands-on experience with PowerShell scripting for automation and operational support.
Experience supporting Windows endpoint environments.
Exposure to DEX tools such as Tanium DEX, Nexthink, Nanoheal, SysTrack or similar platforms will be advantageous.
Experience with endpoint management platforms such as Microsoft Intune will be an advantage.
Basic understanding of ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow is preferred.
Technical Skillsets:
PowerShell scripting for Windows endpoint automation and operational support
Working knowledge of scripting or automation concepts
Basic shell scripting knowledge (e.g. Bash) for non-Windows environments will be advantageous
Windows endpoint troubleshooting and administration
Endpoint monitoring and operational support
