Desktop Support Analyst (Ref: 37396)
Salary: S$4,000 - S$4,500
Our client is a Singapore-based company operating in the maritime and salvage industry, providing specialized services across the region. They are looking for a Desktop Support Analyst, a critical first-line IT support role providing global IT assistance. The role covers support in areas such as desktops, networking, printing, and mobile & telephony environments.
You will be reporting to the General Manager (Singapore Office) and to the Global Director of IT (US Head Office).
【Responsibilities】
‐ Serve as the first point of contact for all users in the Singapore region for any IT-related issues or questions.
- Work as part of the global IT department, adhering to corporate standards across all technologies.
- Have direct knowledge of account administration, including creating user accounts and email accounts using Active Directory, Azure AD, and other systems.
- Support, troubleshoot, and resolve end-user problems related to remote support, VPN, and computer hardware/software issues.
- Install and configure new end-user workstations and laptops, and perform hardware/software upgrades.
- Understand mobile phone technologies, carriers, and deployment methods.
- Maintain a cybersecurity focus, with knowledge of virus and malicious software removal techniques and best practices.
- Participate in and manage projects for the rollout of new hardware/software, office expansions, new offices, etc.
- Proactively monitor all IT systems.
- Make recommendations to management for technical and process improvements.
- Experience with remote access technologies.
- Accept, review, and resolve issues via a ticketing system.
- Assist in project work to roll out new technologies.
- Contribute to continuous learning and accepting developmental feedback.
- Act as the Data Protection Officer (DPO) for the organization.
- Perform any other duties as required.

【Requirements & Preferences】
(Must)
- Miinimmum polytechnic graduate
- At least 5 years of experience in a Desktop Support role
- Hands-on experience in support of Windows 10/11, iOS, and Android in an enterprise environment
- Possess experience in desktop and laptop hardware configuration
- Familiar with Microsoft 365, Azure AD, Exchange, RMM, EDR, and knowledge of Windows Imaging
- Fluent in English and Chinese to communicate with counterparts
- Willing to work outside regular hours as needed (Given the nature of long hours in the maritime industry, however, work arrangements such as remote work and office hours are flexible and can be discussed during the interview.)
- Willing to travel to site locations, locally or overseas, at short notice.
