Job description for Design Engineer at Bloomfoss
An AutoCAD Drafter uses (CAD) software to create technical drawings to help design the Electrical/Mechanical drawings. Their duties include collaborating with Design team, generating digital drawings and schematics based on design specifications and preparing related technical documents.
Job Descriptions:
Using CAD software, such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks, to prepare technical drawings.
Working with engineers and other professionals to produce drawings that meet their specifications
Writing related technical documents such as material lists and cost estimates.
Ensuring that all drawings are accurate and meet industry standards.
Maintaining a library of standard drawing templates
Update existing drawings as new information becomes available.
Working with clients to ensure that their expectations are met.
Involve in technical reviews, designing of the HPU, valve remote control and tank guaging system.
Establish engineering standard, policies, procedures and performance standards within boundaries of company policy and contract specifications.
Liasing with customer and classification society for design, approval related matters.
Follow the marine and offshore regulations. Standard to apply the project design.
Job Requirements:
Minimum 2–5 years of relevant working experience in electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation field.
Proficient in AutoCAD and other engineering design software.
Good understanding of industrial systems, instrumentation, control panels, piping, or M&E services.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
