Job description for Delivery Planner at Ecoplus International Pte Ltd
Job Summary
The Delivery Planner is responsible for planning, scheduling and coordinating daily deliveries to ensure goods are delivered accurately, safely and on time. The role works closely with Sales, Warehouse, Production, Drivers and Customers to optimise delivery schedules, maximise vehicle utilisation and maintain high customer service standards.
Key Responsibilities
Delivery Planning & Scheduling
Plan and schedule daily deliveries based on customer requirements and delivery priorities.
Allocate deliveries to company vehicles or external transport providers.
Optimise delivery routes to improve efficiency and minimise transportation costs.
Monitor delivery schedules and adjust plans to accommodate urgent orders or operational changes.
Coordinate delivery timing with customers when required.
Order & Documentation Management
Review customer orders and ensure all delivery information is accurate.
Prepare and verify Delivery Orders (DOs), packing lists and delivery schedules.
Ensure all delivery documentation is complete before dispatch.
Coordinate with the Warehouse team to ensure orders are picked, packed and ready for delivery.
Coordination & Communication
Liaise with Sales, Customer Service, Warehouse and Production departments regarding delivery schedules.
Communicate with drivers on delivery instructions and route changes.
Respond promptly to delivery issues and provide timely updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
Coordinate with third-party logistics providers where necessary.
Delivery Monitoring
Track delivery progress and resolve delays or delivery exceptions.
Monitor driver performance and vehicle utilisation.
Ensure proof of delivery (POD) documents are returned and properly filed.
Maintain accurate delivery records and reports.
Inventory & Logistics Support
Assist in coordinating stock transfers between locations where required.
Support warehouse operations during peak periods.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance logistics efficiency.
Compliance
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations and transportation requirements.
Maintain proper documentation for audit purposes.
Perform any other duties assigned by the Company.
Requirements
Education
Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or a related discipline.
Experience
1–3 years of experience in delivery planning, logistics coordination or supply chain operations.
Fresh graduates with relevant internship experience are welcome to apply.
Technical Skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
Experience with ERP systems is an advantage.
Good understanding of logistics planning and delivery scheduling.
Knowledge of Singapore road network is an advantage.
