JOB DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES

1.      Receive the new drawings from sales.

2.     Record quotation number and input the corresponding information in RFQ master list

3.     Study the new drawing.

4.    Obtain quotation from suppliers like - Treatment, Painting, Silkscreen, Standard items, Bead blast & Material (local & Overseas)

5.     Price negotiation with suppliers on Specified new parts

6.    Maintain the database of supplier quotation according supplier name

7.    Calculating the process cost as per drawing with Costing sheet

8.    Discuss about the possibilities of manufacturing with Engineering Team

9.    Propose the Technical issues to customer through Quote

10.  Send the completed RFQ to sales team

11.    Cost Evaluation for Existing project & parts as per management request

12.   Check & decide the supplier for current running parts

13.   Cost down exercise with suppliers based on customers request

14.  Supplier Transfer for existing items

15.   Send Drawings & Target prices to supplier upon request.

16.  Costing Information Send to Buyer on New projects with suppliers quote

17.  Attend Internal FA review meeting for those information Sharing with Other Team

18.  Technical Support to sales team for new projects. Customer meeting upon sales request

19.  Monitor overall Quotation Schedule with Subordinate

20. Commit & Updates with sales team on Quotation Submission date
