About the role

AniArk Cafe and Grooming, a leading pet-friendly cafe in the Tengah West Region, is seeking a talented Cook to join our vibrant team. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of fresh, high-quality meals that will delight our discerning customers.

What you'll be doing

Preparing and cooking a diverse range of meals, from hearty mains to delectable desserts

Ensuring all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation

Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations

Collaborating with the cafe team to develop new menu items and enhance existing offerings

Assisting with inventory management and ordering of supplies as needed

Providing exceptional customer service and responding to any special dietary requirements

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years of experience in a professional kitchen environment, ideally within the cafe or restaurant industry

Strong culinary skills and a passion for creating delicious, visually appealing meals

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Ability to thrive under pressure and adapt to changing demands
