We are looking for skilled and friendly Cook to join our team! This position plays a big role for creating and providing best customer experience and satisfaction.
They shall assist the Executive Chef to manage food preparation, cooking and presentation of all menu dishes and other products made within the kitchen.
Job Description:
- Maintain high standards of hygiene
- Prepare menu in accordance with the restaurant's excellent standards of quality and delectable recipes
- Ensure all cooking equipment are clean and kept properly
- Assist in inventory control of kitchen supplies and equipment
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations, according to government regulations
- Maintain positive working relationships with the Front-of-House and Retail team members
- Any other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Experienced in using cutting tools, cookware and bakeware
- Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods, such as grilling, baking, boiling etc. will be advantageous
- Possess food hygiene and safety certification
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly responsible and reliable
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work cohesively with fellow team members as part of a team
- Able to work on weekends and public holidays
- Candidates with minimum 1-year relevant experience may be considered for role of Chef de Partie
