Position: Construction Sector Engineer (Architectural / Structural)

Salary Range: $3000 - $4500 (Depends on experience)

Location: Tuas

Working Days: 5 days

Working Hours: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Job Responsibilities:

Review and interpret architectural / structural drawings and specifications.

Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and project teams on technical matters.

Supervise and monitor daily site construction works to ensure progress and quality.

Ensure works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, method statements, and safety regulations.

Conduct site inspections, quality checks, and snagging.

Prepare and submit shop drawings, RFIs, method statements, and reports.

Liaise with authorities and ensure compliance with BCA and WSH requirements in Singapore.

Track project progress and assist in planning and scheduling.

Resolve technical issues and site coordination problems.

Maintain proper documentation, site records, and reporting.

Perform any other ad-hoc duties assigned by the Supervisor.

Requirements:

Diploma / Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or related field.

Minimum 1–5 years of relevant experience in building / construction projects (Singapore experience preferred).

Good understanding of construction methods, structural or architectural works.

Familiar with BCA regulations, Singapore building codes, and WSH safety standards.

Able to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications.

Experience in site supervision, coordination, and project execution.

Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit / BIM is an advantage.

Strong communication and coordination skills with consultants, contractors, and site teams.

Able to work in a fast-paced construction site environment.

Responsible, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple tasks.

Willing to work on-site and extended hours when required.
