The Commis is responsible for creating optimum guest satisfaction by providing the highest standard of ala carte cookery and presentation according to hotel procedures.
Our Expectations:
Ala carte cookery in Mosella Restaurant
Prepare mise-en-place, ensuring that recipes and procedures are correctly followed.
Ensure the consistency of preparation and presentation in relevant food production area to the hotel standards.
Ensure that food is stored, prepared and secured hygienically and safely.
Ensure that food is prepared and cooked according to specific recipes and wastage is minimized.
Assist in maintaining standards of hygiene and cleanliness in all kitchen and related areas..
Report any engineering defects to CDPs and Sous Chefs.
Perform additional duties as directed by CDP or Sous Chefs.
Make appropriate suggestions and recommendations to supervisors for the general improvement of the hotel.
Maintain a high standard of personal hygiene, dress, uniform, and body language.
Attend meetings and training as required by supervisors.
Complies with all relevant Workplace Safety & Health practices and maintains a safe workplace for all associates.
Ensures that the Hotel’s properties and facilities are protected and are kept in good working condition. Reports any loss or damage to the Hotel’s properties and facilities promptly and appropriately.
Carries out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.
