Job description for Client Advisor at Paradigm Recruitment

Our client is a leading insurer in Singapore. They have a few openings for the Client Advisor position

You will be based in one of the outlets island-wide in Singapore !

As a Client Advisor, you are the frontline representative of the company, operating out of physical branches or advisory centers. This is a full-time, permanent corporate sales role designed for individuals who want a blend of stability and performance-driven upside. Your main objective is to provide professional, honest, and comprehensive financial planning solutions (savings, protection, and investments) to individuals across different life stages, relying on a robust internal lead database and cross-team referrals.

Responsibilities

Your daily duties map out across relationship management, sales execution, and pipeline generation:

Financial Consultation: Conduct thorough financial needs analysis and fact-finding to assess clients' unique goals, mapping out tailored insurance and investment solutions.

Relationship Management: Build and nurture deep, long-lasting relationships with existing and potential customers to ensure retention and long-term financial competency.

Lead Optimization: Proactively manage and act on leads provided by the internal database, setting up structured appointments with potential clients.

Internal Referral Conversion: Collaborate closely with Branch Services colleagues (such as bank tellers and customer service representatives) to actively convert walk-in customer referrals.

Branch Activation: Capitalize on sales opportunities through scheduled customer events, financial review booths, and local branch engagement activities.

Operational Integrity: Maintain highly detailed client records and documentation, processing new insurance applications and policy changes accurately and efficiently.

Requirements

The company keeps this role accessible to newcomers by offering comprehensive corporate training, but applicants must meet the following baseline educational and certification criteria:

Minimum Education: Must possess a Full GCE A-Level certificate, Polytechnic Diploma, or University Degree in any field of study.

Experience Level: No prior insurance experience required. Candidates with no experience or mid-career switchers keen on a banking and finance sales track are explicitly welcomed.

Key Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, a high degree of empathy, problem-solving capabilities, and a genuine passion for client advisory.

Motivation Drive: Highly self-motivated by tangible results and comfortable working within a multi-layered, performance-based incentive structure.

Regulatory Certifications (CMFAS):

Possession of Capital Markets and Financial Advisory Services (CMFAS) certifications—specifically M5, M9, M9A, HI, BCP, and PGI—is highly preferred.

Note: If you do not have these certifications, the company will sponsor your examinations and provide structured licensing training upon hire.


It's a 5-day work week, you need to work over the weekends(Saturday and Sunday), 2 weekdays off will be given
