Job Description

Supervise and perform physical and chemicals analysis of our raw materials, intermediates and finished products 

Trouble-shoot, investigate and rectify analytical and quality issues 

Operate, trouble-shoot and maintain our lab equipment such as ICP OES, Auto-Titrators, Particle Size Analyzer, density meter, pH meters etc.

Conduct research work and lab scale products development so as to improve existing products quality and create new product lines

Documentation of lab equipment, testing methods and results for regulatory and quality compliance

Create risk assessment, standard operating procedure (SOP), analytical method development, transfer and validation as part of quality and safety management systems

Manage general administration of the lab which includes purchasing of lab equipment, chemicals and apparatus

Ensure the safety and well-being of all employees working in the lab

Develop training materials and conduct training/mentoring to sub-ordinates and interns

Job Requirements

1.Diploma or Degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering

2. Possess strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills

3. Competency in experimental design and statistical analysis

4. Minimum intermediate level in MS Excel

5. Understanding of experimental and lab best practice
